Rosy Faced Lovebird

Baby

Baby has been adopted!

We are excited to announce that Baby, the rosy-faced lovebird, has found her forever home. Not only does she have two wonderful humans providing for her, but she has also bonded with a male lovebird named Blueberry.

Congrats, Baby!

BABY'S STORY: If you walk by Baby's cage, she will get your attention by calling out, "Baby!" It is the cutest thing ever, and one of the reasons her previous owner purchased her from a parrot store. The store employees said Baby was unsaleable because she is a biter. She was mistreated in the past because of her difficult-to-read behavior. But that didn't stop Baby's previous owner from giving her the best three years she could, getting to know how to work with Baby's likes and dislikes, and living harmoniously with her.

Unfortunately, due to emergency circumstances, Baby needed to be re-homed, but no one would take in such an aggressive bird. That's why Mulberry Acres stepped in. Since getting to know Baby, we have discovered that she is the sweetest firecracker who makes us smile and laugh every single day. She is incredibly resilient and smart, and we can't wait to start training her so she can show the world what she is made of!
