Peety

Green Cheek Conure ~ female ~ 2 years old

Peety is a cuddly, sweet girl who loves to give kisses and snuggle inside our sleeves. She is outgoing and curious, and loves to ride on our shoulders. Peety would make a great, sociable pet, as long as she can bring her sisters (DayZ and Elvis) with her.

PEETY'S STORY: Peety was rescued with Elvis from an animal hoarding situation. The owner acquired Peety and Elvis with the intention of breeding them, but was frustrated that they never mated. That's because Peety and Elvis are both girls! Our Intake Coordinator, Claudia, rescued them and worked with them for a year before they came to Mulberry Acres. She trained them to go into their enclosure at night, and even how to go into a carrier to take them to the vet.
