📝 Pickle's Story: Pickles wasn't getting the attention he was used to at his previous home, so he began to display some behavior issues. He takes some time to warm up to people, but once he does, he is loyal and affectionate.

 

Temperament: Sweet, affectionate, loyal
 

🎶 Talks/Sings?: Pickles talks all the time! Some of his favorite phrases are, "Hi, Pickles!" "Whatcha doin?" laughing and coughing. He has an adorable quiet voice. 
 

🧩 Favorite Activities: Just hanging out in the same room as his people.

🐦 Best Quirk: He loves to talk back and forth in phrases rather than mimic, so it feels like you're having a conversation. He also loooooves to swing! (video below)

 

💡 Best Fit: A patient owner who will take the time needed to bond to Pickles, as it could take a few weeks.

Known for the red or orange patches on their head, wings, and legs, the Jardine's parrot is found across Africa. They are popular pets and can mimic human speech. They are small and friendly, and aren't as noisy as other parrot species.
