Simon

Simon is the most lovable, sociable bird we have in our flock. We call him our Flock Ambassador because he welcomes all of our visitors, young and old, with open wings.

🦜 Species: White-Bellied Caique

🐣 Hatch Date: 2016

🎂 Age: 9 years

👫 Sex: M

📏 Size: small

SIMON'S STORY: We were told that Simon was dearly loved by his previous owners, and judging by his sweet demeanor, that seems to be the case. Unfortunately, his owners decided to give him up after they had a child who was sensitive to noise. If you've ever been around a caique, you know they can be VERY loud. They sound like car alarms, but there is no button to turn them off. Luckily everyone here at Mulberry Acres is used to his high-pitched calls, which usually means his tablet has gone to sleep and he needs someone to turn it back on.

FAVORITE ACTIVITY: Watching his "morning cartoons" on YouTube every day, which consist of videos starring other caiques like him. He is very adamant about this routine and will make his displeasure known if his tablet is not working properly.

FAVORITE FOOD: Cashews

FAVORITE SONG: Enchanted by Taylor Swift

FAVORITE FLOCK MEMBER: DayZ, Peety, Elvis, Florence Bird
