📝 Buddy's Story: Buddy is a sweet and curious bird, full of training potential. He came to us after his previous owner was unable to care for him due to a disability. While we don’t have many details about his first two years of life, it’s clear he was loved and treated with kindness.
✨ Temperament: A bit shy, but warms up quickly. He likes to be out of the cage, hanging out in the same room as his people. He will need an owner who can train him not to bite.
🎶 Talks/Sings?: He jabbers a bit here and there. Conures aren't known for talking, but with practice they can be trained to say a few words.
🥜 Favorite Treats: Buddy is not very food-motivated, which makes him an oddball among our flock. He will need to learn how to take treats from someone's hand. For now he will chow down on fruit left in his bowl.
💡 Best Fit: A bird owner who has moderate experience with parrots. Someone who has trained birds before would be the best fit.
🐦 Can Live with Other Birds?: Buddy seems to do well with the other birds in our free-flying room. He seems to prefer the attention of humans over other birds.
📢 Noise Level: The conure flock call is LOUD. It's like a car alarm going off inside your house. Buddy is no exception to this.

🏠 Cage & Play Area Needs: Buddy can do well with a medium-sized cage with a play area on top. He prefers to be out of the cage most of the day.
