Quaker parrots are native to Southern South America, in areas such as Bolivia, Brazil, and Argentina. It is illegal to own a Quaker parrot in some U.S. States because some wild populations have become invasive. They have an ability to mimic some human speech and sounds. Quakers tend to be surrendered or released into the wild because of aggression issues.
