📝 Elvis's Story: Sadly, Elvis's owner got sick and could no longer care for him. It is clear that she took wonderful care of him throughout his life -- he is a healthy and happy boy!

🧩 Favorite Pastimes:  Making a lot of sound effects and EATING

🥜 Favorite Food: Peanuts, bananas, apples

Temperament: A little shy, but warms up with treats and training
 

🎶 Talks/Sings?: Yes!

🥦 Diet: TOPs pellets, Hagen Tropican pellets, Bird Street Bistro cooked mix, vegetables finely chopped, and seeds/nuts sparingly

🏠 Cage & Play Area Needs: Elvis requires a medium-sized enclosure and plenty of time outside of the enclosure during the day. Elvis can fly, so opportunities to fly from perch to perch is recommended. An outdoor aviary would also be a great addition for his future health.

🐦 Can Live with Other Birds?: Elvis is currently in a room with other birds and doesn't mind having them around or climbing on his enclosure. However, he has not yet interacted with any birds outside of the enclosure.

🩺 Health Notes: Elvis is a healthy, big boy with no issues

📢 Noise Level: African Greys can be loud, but Elvis has been a true gentleman at the rescue, staying sweet and quiet.

💡 Best Fit: Elvis requires a hands-on owner who will work with him daily to keep his mind busy and engaged. He is an incredibly smart bird and picks up new things quickly. Someone who likes training birds would love Elvis and his eagerness to learn.
